Quilt Camp

"Is it morning?" I think I need to sleep some more...

Carla and Gayle are binding by the pool. Barbara is in the sunshine working on layout and a border.

Here is Joan a bit later in the day, sewing away on her Featherweight.

Pam T. working on applique.

And here I am with about one third of the quilting done on my cheerful gift quilt.

Do you all need a foster child? One who speaks Southern and has prematurely (yeah, right) gray hair? A secretary? Assistant? Lackey? Will work for quilty companionship.

Thanks for sharing the fun!

Jane Ann, I wish you lived close enough to join us! It really is fun to be with other quilters. One good place to meet other quilters is through classes. Are there any quilt shops near you? Jen

So love your "Cheerful Gift" quilt. It's lovely, and it looks like y'all had fun. Sitting around the pool in quilts with a bunch of sew-quilty friends sounds like a little bif of heaven!

What a tough life you SoCal girls are living!

Looks like you all had a terrific time. I adore quilting retreats. I can't wait until my next one in mid-October.

Looked like fun but never thought of quilts by the pool before!
