My New Studio

Here I am, only a week ago, sewing in a very crowded space. No sooner had my son left with the last of the things he wanted, I got to work on his old room. LOTS of painting and cleaning and furniture moving later, here is my NEW sewing space:

Notice the wall bracket, just waiting for my new LCD HD TV. I might have to wait a couple of months to get one. In the meantime I have my old boom box to listen to audio books from the library. There is also my trusty IPOD for music.

Take a good look, it will never be this clean and tidy again!

With such a beautiful space you'll be extra-inspired in your projects. How nice to have so much room to spread out in.

I am enjoying looking at your wonderful new studio through green eyes; they are really green but I'm also quite envious of that space to spread out in. I look forward to seeing the great creations to come from there.

a room of your own. Does it get any better than that! I've been measuring James's room for a while but he shows no signs of leaving....yet. Problem is I still like having him around. Sooner or later that space is MINE, MINE, ALL MINE.
Have fun Jen.

It's very pretty. You're going to be able to make lots and lots of quilts in this space.

Very impressive! Having a good tidy up really frees the creative genie I find. If I get too much in a mess I start to get bogged down. Unfortunately tidying up happens very infrequently around my place and is never a fully completed task :-)
